Asante' Awards Crew, and Passengers ... All ABOARD

• THE 3RD ANNUAL ASANTE’ FESTIVAL will be held on Friday, June 25, 2010 for 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. The Festival will showcase poets, musicians, artist, local pioneers and we anticipated 3,000 NORD kids.

• THE 3RD ANNUAL ASANTE CRYSTAL AWARDS: A SPECIAL TRIBUTE TO THE GOSPEL MASS CHOIR and SALUTE TO THE NEW ORLEANS SAINTS will be held at The MAHALIA JACKSON THEATRE OF PERFORMING ARTS on Sunday September 19, 2010, for 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. There will be an Honorees and Sponsors reception from 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm.

However, you can still become a MEMBER and attend the Asante Festival 9am-5pm

Sunday September 19, 2010. On this day of Thanksgiving and Salutation to our culture, the Asante Awards and Festival will showcase local poets, musicians, artists and academians in various disciplines. The informative, educational format of the Festival will also allow for ample interaction between artists and festival goers. You are invited to be a part of this stellar event. You can SUPPORT the Asante Foundation by becoming a MEMBER and receive many annual benefits, including priority seating at our events.
