MISSION
NOLA.TV's mission is to utilize the tools of technology and the Internet to build and bind the New Orleans community. Our goal is to provide useful, quality content about New Orleans and surrounding areas to help generate an even greater interest in our local organizations and businesses. In the process of reaching our goal, we aim to inform, entertain, promote awareness, and develop an interactive relationship with our users.
We're leading the way.
HOW WE'RE DIFFERENT
Connected
NOLA.TV is New Orleans's first web-based television station to provide in-depth coverage of local news, local weather, local sports, local arts and entertainment, and local on-demand programming in a streaming video format. Close involvement with many of New Orleans's top local producers, "trend-setters", promoters, organizations, and businesses allow NOLA.TV to stay in tune with the inner-most workings of the city. These relationships enable NOLA.TV to cover various "scenes" of New Orleans from a unique local perspective.
Community Building
NOLA.TV is an alternative, progressive media outlet that differs greatly from other local mediums, yet delivers quality information a strong local audience desires. The independent, grass-root focus of NOLA.TV effectively reaches like-minded professionals and consumers in a way that "corporate" entities do not. Our services are provided to enhance our communities and build an even stronger interest in the New Orleans area.
Demographics
NOLA.TV's demographic focus is unique compared to other local media outlets. A recent audit found that internet users tend to be highly educated, technology-savvy professionals.
